Scratch Built War Altar

I was not aware of War Altar until the Seventh Edition Empire Army Book came out. I have searched for a model and found the old war altar. As the model did not suit my taste I started building my own War Altar which looks like a chariot more than the current. 

A plastic sprue is the base of War Altar. It has been framed with plasticard and the platform was made with pieces of balsa. The horse harness was made from balsa and ethernet cable. (I think I will be building a new harness from wood.)


An Empire vehicle can not be thought without Empire eagle.


And this is the platform Arch Lector and Golden Griffon will stand. I will be using Reaper Miniatures for my altar;

The Guardian Angel (14080) is a great figure from Reaper Miniatures and I will be using it as Golden Griffon on my altar. While Halbarand (14036) will be my Arch lector.

I will be adding the finished photos shortly. (As war altar is one of my default choices in a 2000pts list.)
